Team building can be a great way to get your staff working more closely together. However, you need to select the right kind of team building day in order for it to work, or your staff won’t be as willing to get involved. Here are some things to think about and some activity suggestions for you to consider:

• How old are your team? If everybody is young and energetic, an activity day could work very well. This might not suit everybody though, and the last thing you want to do is exclude anybody, so perhaps mix it up with other activities as well.
• Do you have lots of new people on your team? A team building day can be a great way for them to get to know the company. Consider activities like quizzes and treasure hunts.
• Do you want to get new people working together? Pick your teams carefully and consider activities that involve problem-solving to see how people take on the tasks.
